The Problem
The old website was very disorganized and not responsive. The site also had too much text that could easily be summarized. Information was also repeated on my sections; this tends to send visitors to other websites instead. Another issue is that some information could have used better if it was used onn other sections rather than on the current one.
The Solution
The solution was to develop a clean looking website, where visitors would not leave due to a bad user experience /interface design. I decided to make the website responsive because today most people use mobile phones or tablets to look at websites. I also decided to use typography to improve both the user experience and user interface.
The Process
The first step was to study the website and see how I could improve the design. Then I created an information architecture map. The next I took was to create a high fidelity prototype. After creating the prototype I coded the website. For a detailed description of the steps please see the images below.
